Laura’s yoga teaching is based in the belief that if you can breathe, you can practice yoga, and that personal practice looks different for every individual, every day. She strives to meet her students where they are, providing thoughtful pranayama, asana and meditation instruction aimed at creating harmony and ease in students’ lives.
She teaches in a variety of styles, from vigorous vinyasa classes to the relaxing restorative sessions. She aims to create spaces of safety and discovery in her classes through knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, and her instruction is supported by years of personal practice as well as a 200-hour YTT at Kripalu. Her sequencing is informed by a desire to create the kind of sweetness and steadiness on the mat that we need in the rest of our lives. She teaches with a light touch, invites laughter into the studio, and hopes that each student walks away with a little more lightness and spaciousness in their life!
